Two LA cops investigate the murder of a rap act, the twist being that they both moonlight when not detecting. The young buck (Hartnett) wants to be an actor, and the grizzled experienced cop (Ford) sells real estate. The film mixes comedy and action, not unlike all the great buddy cop movies.
