Jude can swagger and be cocky (Talented Mr Ripley), and he can de doe eyed in a computer game (Existentz), so why not Tron? No reason.

We need some yanks to bring in the studio’s money, so up and coming Jake could do a fine job, again wide eyed, and at the flick of a commodore 64 switch look sinister and ready for a rumble.

Zhang must have learnt English now, and imagine her Crouching Tiger antics in the world of Tron – the game itself wouldn’t be able to keep up.

With a name like Black, he’s gotta play a bad boy at some point, and here we have the ‘cuddly’ Jack facing off against the ‘more pleasing to the eye’ boys Jake/Jude.
Imagine Jack squeezing into a neon glowing jumpsuit and sliding into that electric light car that leaves a wall of death. Come on – it’s not that funny to imagine…

He’s proved himself at voice-overs (Toy Story), and it’s about time he did some cameos in cool films rather than taking on the earnest hero role (more of Catch Me If You Can type roles Tom!!!), so why not – give him $10m and tell him to shuddup until the Tower Guardian is needed…heck, they might even get Spielberg to make it for his kids if Uncle Tom’s on board…
